Certified Resale Partner Criteria

At Kahurere, our Certified Resale Partner programme is designed to work with industry professionals who share our commitment to premium, design-led products. While there are no minimum order requirements, not all applications are successful, and we limit the number of certified partners in each region to ensure exclusivity and maintain the integrity of the brand.

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Industry status

  • Must be a registered interior designer, architect, retailer, or commercial project manager.

  • Must operate within the interior, architectural, or commercial fit-out sectors.

Business requirements

  • Provide a valid business name, GST number, and registered address.

  • Demonstrate ability to sell, specify, or manage wallcovering products within client projects.

  • Maintain a professional online presence (website or active portfolio).

  • Must be able to pay for products prior to shipment.

Brand alignment

  • Commitment to premium, design-led products.

  • Ability to represent the brand accurately and professionally.

  • Agreement to follow brand usage guidelines for samples, imagery, and product information.

FAQS

  • The programme is exclusively available to registered interior designers, architects, retailers, and commercial project managers who operate within the interior, architectural, or commercial fit-out sectors. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to premium, design-led products and meet our eligibility criteria.

  • No. We do not impose minimum orders. Our focus is on working with partners who share our design and quality standards rather than volume.

  • All wallpaper products are made to order, and full payment is required before production begins.

    Kahurere will issue you an invoice for your order. Orders will not enter production until payment is received and cleared.

  • Standard production time is 10 working days, plus shipping. Estimated delivery is generally 2–3 weeks, subject to workload and seasonality. These timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed. Kahurere is not liable for delays caused by suppliers, freight companies, or events beyond reasonable control.

  • Delivery occurs to the supplier’s nominated address within New Zealand only. Risk transfers to the supplier upon delivery, and ownership passes only when full payment has been received. Delivery costs are additional unless specified otherwise. Products must be stored flat, in a dry area, and kept away from moisture prior to installation.

  • As all products are made to order, returns or refunds are not accepted unless required by law. Claims for defective wallpaper must be made in writing within 10 days of delivery with supporting photos. Only defects confirmed by Kahurere will be eligible for replacement or refund.

  • All designs, artwork, patterns, and branding remain the property of Kahurere. Suppliers may not reproduce or create derivative works. Where installation images are provided to Kahurere, we may use them for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes, tagging the supplier or installer where appropriate. Commercial photography or collaborations must be pre-approved.

    • Ability to order single samples for client presentations.

    • Direct support for quoting, technical details, and installation guidance.

    • Early access to new releases and limited collections.

    • Invitations to launches, previews, and “Meet the Artist” events for partners and their clients.

    • Listing on our website as an approved supplier.

  • Yes. Kahurere reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Certified Resale Partner agreement at any time, with or without notice, at our discretion.

  • By placing an order or making payment, suppliers agree to be bound by the Kahurere Terms of Trade, which cover:

    • Payment and pricing

    • Lead times and delivery

    • Risk, ownership, and installation

    • Returns, defects, and liability

    • Intellectual property and marketing usage

    • Privacy and general conditions
